Book a Voice Over Session — Here Is How It Works

When you reach out, tell me about the project. Script length, deadline, and any directed session needs. I respond same day. Most of the time within a couple of hours. No waiting around.

For directed sessions, I am on Source Connect, Zoom, and phone patch. You direct in real time, just like an in-studio session. I take notes. I take direction well. You will not have to repeat yourself.

Turnaround is typically 24 hours, faster when the project needs it. Deliver in WAV, MP3, or whatever format the project requires. If you need multiple takes or alternates, those are included.

What to Expect from Your Voice Over Session

Clean audio from a professionally treated Whisper Room vocal booth. No bleed, no noise floor surprises. What you get back is ready to put in the spot.

If the read is not right, we fix it. Pickups and alternates are included. The goal is a finished read your client believes. Not just a read that checks the technical boxes.

A standard commercial voice over session typically runs 30 to 60 minutes. E-learning modules and multi-page scripts run longer. Same-day sessions are available with enough notice — just put the deadline in your message.

I have been doing this since 1995. Agency work, independent producers, direct clients. I know how to run an efficient voice over session and how to stay out of your way when the read is working. And when it is not, I know how to make it right without burning your time.

What Projects Work Best

Commercial spots. Corporate narration. E-learning and training modules. IVR and phone on-hold. Explainer videos. If it needs a voice that sounds like a real person talking to another real person, that is the work I do best.

I work with ad agencies, video production companies, corporate communications teams, and individual producers. The process is the same either way: clean audio, fast turnaround, a read that lands.

Rates and Process

Rates depend on the project: what it is, how long it runs, and where it airs. I follow GVAA rate guidelines, which exist so you’re not guessing and I’m not making things up on the fly.

Send me the script, tell me where it’s going, and I’ll get you a number the same day. No obligation. No pitch. Just a number.

Working Remotely Is Not a Compromise

A remote voice over session is not a second-tier option. The audio quality out of a treated Whisper Room through a proper signal chain is the same as what you get in a commercial studio, without the overhead. Agencies that started booking remote sessions out of necessity kept booking them because the results are the same and the process is faster.

I have been recording remotely since before it was the default. The gear is professional grade. The process is clean. You will not notice the difference in the read. Your client will not notice it either. That is the whole point.

Rates are project-based. Send me the script and I will quote you fast. I work union and non-union. For recurring clients and agencies with regular volume, we can set up a preferred rate structure that makes sense.

There is no pitch on this page. If I am the right fit for the project, you will know it from the demo. If not, I will tell you. Either way, you get a straight answer fast.
